Join Miss Melissa for virtual storytime on Zoom!  Listen to stories, sing songs, and share with friends.  Attendees will receive a storytime kit that includes materials to assist with participation.

Peep House Project

All Ages

Thursday, April 1

We've got peeps and they need houses!  Kids can build peep houses using graham crackers!  We'll provide all you need except for frosting.  Kits will be available to pick up starting April 1st.  Email us pictures to egchildren@gmail.com so that we can share them on social media!  All pictures should be submitted by the end of the month.

Kid's Book Club

Grades 3 - 5

Join us on zoom as we talk about Changeling by William Ritter.  This book was last year's Kids Reading Across RI selection and participants will receive a free copy of the book.

Virtual Spring Storytime

Ages 2 - 5

Celebrate the first day of Spring with a story and craft.  A spring story video will be posted on our website and Facebook page to view Saturday morning.  The video will remain posted for a few days to view.  There will also be a preschool bird craft kit available at the library while supplies last.

Virtual Trivia Challenge

Join us on April Fool's Day for a trivia contest between East Greenwich Free Library and Cranston Public Library. Show your EG pride by participating in some friendly competition between two terrific West Bay communities. Individuals, teams, and families are invited. Have some fun and a few laughs. You might just win bragging rights to say that you're the smartest trivia buff in the West (Bay)!

Virtual Sock Snowman

Drop by the library to pick up a kit to make your own snowman craft out of socks! 

Kits will be available while supplies last over vacation week, Feb. 16 - 20.

Holiday Closing

With an abundance of caution during the holiday week, the library will be closed Thursday December 31, Friday January 1, and Saturday January 2. The library will reopen Monday January 4 at 9 am.  Thank you for your understanding during this time.
