Wednesdays at 10:00 AM

Join us for stories, songs, and movement as we move storytimes back inside to our Community Room.  Masks are required for adults and children (ages 2 and up).  Space is very limited and registration is required.  Registration opens at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, Feb. 22.  Please call, visit or email the Children's Department to register.

Outdoor Alpaca Storytime

Join us in Academy Field to hear some fun alpaca stories and meet live alpacas!  Bring a blanket or chairs for this all ages event.

This event and is weather dependent.  Please check our website or facebook page the morning of the event.  In the event that we need to cancel or reschedule an announcement will be posted by 9:30 that morning.

Kids Read Around the World Book Club

Ages 8 - 12

Join us for discussion and fun activities in our Kids Book Club!  This year our book adventures will be reading stories that take place all over the world and filling out book passports along the way.  Our March book is The Mystery of Meerkat Hill by Alexander McCall Smith and it takes place in Africa.

 

Registration is required.  Copies of the book are available to check out at the Children's Desk.

Virtual Dragon Drawing Class

Ages 6+

Follow along as illustrator Corinne Roberts teaches you to use basic shape construction and simple line techniques to create imaginative dragons!  No prior drawing experience necessary.  Great activity for the whole family, parents and children!  Get your pencils and paper ready and get ready to draw!
