Children's Summer Challenge

Join us for our Summer Library Challenge!

June 17 - August 10

Join the East Greenwich Free Library as we "Read, Renew, and Repeat" this summer! We have created BINGO cards containing 25 different learning activities for kids to work on over the summer.

For the first BINGO you complete (5 in a row) you will earn 5 raffle tickets for our grand prizes, a certificate and a FREE BOOK!

But you don't have to stop at 1...

Keep doing activities and completing BINGOs to continue earning raffle tickets.

Come visit the Children's Room to pick up your BINGO card starting June 17th to join in on the fun!

Can't make it to the library right away?  Print out a BINGO card at home!  Find the BINGO cards at the bottom of the page (cards will not be available until June 17).  There is an Early Literacy card for kids ages 0-4 and a School Age card for ages 5-12.

recycling markers

In keeping with this summer's sustainability theme, we are partnering with Cartridge World and Office Recycling Solutions to help kids take charge of recycling their old art and writing supplies!  All summer we will be collecting dried out markers, pens, and mechanical pencils in the Children's Room.  Let's see how many we collect and help save the planet one marker at a time!

The statewide Rhode Island Summer Reading Program is supported by the RI Office of Library and Information Services, with funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

The East Greenwich Free Library's 2024 Summer Programming made possible

through gracious donations by the late Bruce Fogel.

Special thanks to prize donations from Clayground, Clementine's Ice Cream and Twisted Pizza.
